Valley View Medical Center (VVMC) is modern, having opened in 2005, and we keep growing to meet the growth rate of our service area – and we offer a unique "ground floor opportunity" for physicians and staff professionals in many areas as we are bringing new treatment services to the Tri-State for the first time: in 2008 we completed our $8 million Cath Lab and in 2010 we invested another $8 million constructing a 24,000 SF extension that expands the Med Surge Unit, Labor & Delivery Department, and opened a Pediatrics Wing – for the first time the families of our community will have specialty pediatrics services.
VVMC is currently an approximately 140,000 square-foot acute care facility with 90 total beds in private rooms (including med/surg beds, rehabilitation, a labor & delivery unit, and a an intensive care unit) with the expectation to grow to 90 beds by 2011. There are 6 major operating rooms and 2 minor procedure rooms. We provide 24-hour emergency service and life flight helicopter service. The medical staff consists of over 70 physicians (Please see Doctor Perspectives to see the list of our medical services).
Service Area: Our patients come from throughout the “Tri-State” area: Our location is centered between Laughlin, NV and Bullhead City, AZ to our north, and south on Highway 95, which extends to Needles, CA.
